1st gen, how do i...

I'm trying to figure out how to remove the little metal piece thats in front of the blinkers. You know, the one that always rusts out? Big surprise, mines rusty. I wanna take it out so i can sand and re-paint it. Anyone know how?

i think i know what your talking about, and i think you might have to pull the head light out to pull the piece out if its what i'm thinking of.

just pop it off with a flat head screw driver.. its got a sticky foam piece behind it that keeps it on.

Thanks Stealth...popped right off. no foam though, mine were clip-on. Must be a stealth thing
