Heat is on full plast

Hey guys..
I have a concorde 95.

The heat control unit lights are off when the car is running. And the heater blower is on full blast.

Does any one know a fix for this

you help is appreciated .

Automatic Temperature Control Head Unit most likely went bad, common problem with cars equipped with ATC, it will have to be replaced. Try to get a good used one from a wrecking yard as it won't dent the pocketbook too much, or you can check out eBay I see them on there all the time, some of them have been rebuilt and are guaranteed, if forced to go to the dealer to replace it then hang on to something because the price may make your knees wobbly.

How hard it is to remove the climate control unit ATC ?

Can a guy how is not car savey do it ? Is there how to article or some how can explain it in an easy way?

Is there a fuse or a relay i can take of to turn heat/blower off for the time being ? This thing make the inside ot he car unbearable .

Replacement of the head unit is not bad at all, the bezel surrounding the Radio and ATC is clipped into the dash and should pull straight out, there are 3 phillips head screws that need removed (2 on the top of the head unit and 1 on the bottom left) and it will litterally fall out of the dash, there are 2 wiring harness connectors that unplug from the back of it. You should be able you pull the blower motor fuse to keep the blower from working but you might still get some heat from the vents while the car is in motion but nowhere near as bad as when the blower is pushing it.

On the fuse block on the end of the drivers side dash, should be a 25A fuse. On the back of the fuse cover you will see "Blower Motor 25A" and it will give the cavity number for it's location in the panel.

I have a 95 Chrysler Concorde and the temperature control unit has been acting up for about 2 years. At first I could get it to work by snapping my fingers across the buttons. Later that didn't work, so I removed the unit and checked the circuit board. I even used a soldering gun and reheated suspicious solder connections. That didn't work. Ok, time to become a little more aggressive. When the unit stopped working the next time, I simply removed the screws and slid the unit out of the dash, leaveing the wires connected and the car running. Putting on my fur lined leather glove I gave the unit a forceful slap on the bottom side. Ahhhh!!! Back in service. It works every time and lasts several weeks or a month. I suspect that the black module plugged in the back side has become a little flakey with time, but it only needs a little spanking now and then.

What is the black module thing called I have a similiar problem with my 94 Concorde. Where do I get one of those black module things?
