Will not go in reverse

I drove 350 miles the other day and when I got home the car would not go i reverse, and it is down shifting. The transmission fluid was down a quart....that did not help.

What would be the least expensive repair. The car is not worth more than $2500.

It sounds like you need a new tranny. I recomend you junk it or sell it for parts.
