beautiful car. i bought one three or four years ago and spent a year and half and $7400 getting parts and restoring it too mint condition. (although most of the parts i got out of junkyards.) The one i got was a christine clone-red and white paint. when i got it it had everything original although most of it was badly worn, and i made it a point to restore it to its original condtion. beautiful car.

"Christine"'s are usually actually Belvederes, not Fury's. The fury didn't have the trim packages that were available on the Belvedere's, but who's counting. They even mention this flaw in the book....
Cool car anyway. My dad had an actual '58 fury. It was plagued with Vapor-lock and rear wheel brake cylinder problems all it's life. It's still around somewhere in PA, all I know is it was pee-beige/yellow/green and was a pushbutton, as the last time I was in it was '69!
I own the Christine movie, and I love it and the book. If you look really hard, you can detect at least 8 noticably different "christines" during the driving/sitting/killing scenes.
Look at the headlights, the lower grill, and side upper door stainless trim.... the grilles, the interior on one of them is actually Sh!t brown, not blood red...
The movie didn't follow the book enough. Hell, they even screwed up the guy he got the car from, but oh well, still love it...
What I hate is everybody taking every belvedere and fury, and even dodge coronets and a few dart Seneca's even and painting them red, and touting them as "christine".
In the book, Christine was a four door car. In the movie, it turned into a 2 door...... oh well.
