hey guys,
i have a 90 teg and every time it rains hard i get a leak under the dash on the passenger side.i heard that it could be my blower motor because when i turn my heater on, i notice more water dripping. how can i fix this and where is the blower motor and what does it look like? thanks for any input on this.....

Does it leak more when you have the air conditioning on? It could be the windshield sealing, antifreeze from a leaking heater radiator, plugged drain hose from under the evaparator. Need to examine what the fluid is.

the fluid is H2O because it only happens when it rains, ive inspected the fluid and its water...

OK. I would suspect a leaking windshied seal. The test for this is to put a soapy solution on the outside of the window along the edges all the way around the window. From the inside, using a air hose, blow air at no more then 15 psi all around the seal and look for bubbles.

ive also noticed that itdrips when it rains hard, but when i turn on my heater on, the water pours out for a bit and then drips..

Did you find the blower motor ? It should be behind the glovebox. The motor should have 3 mounting screws and a couple of wires.
Is the water dripping/running from heater outlets ??

If it is a leak from the heat exchanger, the fluid leaking would be antifreeze. However, there is a moisture collection pan under the airconditioning evaparator which has a drain to the motor compartment I think. It may be plugged. Find that hose and blow air in to clear any obsructions.

I hope you have antifreeze in the radiator and if you do and what is dripping is water, it is coming from outside the car. The blower motor is under the dash. Back to my earlier post to check the windshield for leaks using compressed air.
