Spare tire cover

I'm very happy with my 02 CRV but I almost NEVER see the big " HONDA" on the spare tire cover, level. To put any words on the cover is in poor taste IMHO. Does Honda think more people will buy their cars because of this stupid advetising? Would this happen on high end German cars? NO. It's tacky and unrefined. So I took mine off and guess what? Rusty wheel! A few more years and the whole thing would have fallen off. :screwy:

Weell at least you got your's off. I happened to look at mine this weekend, it's a 2003. All three zippers, dead center bottom of course, have a nice layer of white corrosion from water dripping. I sprayed with silicon lubricant and got one to move, not sure what to try next. Kinda figure if I ever need the spare it will be razor knife time. :disappoin
