99 water pump shot!

I was wondering if changing a water pump is going to be as hard as it looks?( Fan removal + Lack of room)

Its not hard at all. The belt is a PITA. I would recomend installing a new one since you have to take it off and make sure you know the path that the belt follows, if you don't have the belt path sticker still on the truck make a drawing. It helps if you have someone there to put the belt back on because you have to cock the tension pully. Make sure the surface of the block is clean and dry and use permatex sealer on the gasket areas on both surfaces. You may need a piece of 2x4 to wedge the fan so you can break the bolts loose and make sure you refill the system so there is no air pockets. If you have any questions post or pm me.
