Yes, definently. And you should have around $2,000 left over, of course depending on how much you get the car for.

To make it just a bit easier on yourself, try and find a shell. Basically just the body and all without the motor. You shouldn't have to pay more than atleast $1500 for it. Then the swap and what not should cost about $3000 give or take a few hundred dollars.

www.hmotorsonline.com (http://www.hmotorsonline.com) < This is an awesome site, and I honestly don't think you can find a better site to give you a better deal on a complete swap set up for your money. I'd also recommend www.passwordjdm.com (http://www.passwordjdm.com) too.

Along with that fact that you find just a shell, it would save you the trouble of trying to swap out the old motor. Just drop it in, ya know? But, try searching on ebay if you are just looking for a Civic that needs new life. Or, locally. Either way, good luck with your search.

$1500 is way too much for a shell, I bought my car (clean as hell and strong engine) for $1800. $600-700 tops for a shell.

yes you could but else where more power and fun can be had cheaper if you got a shell cheap you could do a GSR swap for 7K installed

I would highly reccomend the GSR over the b16

if i had 7 g, i would buy a 90-91 hatch and put a gsr in it for like 3 grand... put a turbo on that and your lookin at 250hp or so.... just guessin, dont yell at me, all i know is a gsr has like 180 hp, and if a turbo can add 75 hp that would be great.... thats my goal, except for i started out with a 95 civic ex coupe....oh well
