My dream car is a 99 GSX with low miles, but the chances of finding it and having it be so perfect are fairly low so I'm looking for cars that are 00+ and respond well to mods (read: turbos). I want something that feels well put together (my current 95 civic feels like something is always wrong with it). I was thinking maybe an 00+ Eclipse GT but they're a little too heavy for my taste.. well, anyways, list away.

I would say a '96 Nissan 300ZX TT but you want newer...Maybe a '99-'01 Subaru WRX?

WRX is a good one, Ecotec Cavalier/Sunfire, SRT-4, Focus, or if you want something that really responds well to mods look at an LS1 Camaro, throw some bolt-ons on there along with heads and a cam, and you'll be like turb-what? If you really want a screamer you could turbo it.

Well I wouldn't go WRX because unless I can buy an STI it's just not worth it.
Ew @ the cavalier and/or focus.

SRT-4s are a little out of the price range.. it'd take me about 4 years to make that kind of money.

How is it not worth it? WRX's can be made really fast and they respond good to mods since they come with a turbo stock.

I second the LS1 :grinyes: Take a look at some of the Camaros and the dyno graphs at www.ststurbo.com

I was looking at trans ams actually, but I tend to like smaller cars that do well in turns and general agressive driving.

How about a Toyota MR2 Turbo? They are old, but most of the time they have low mileage when being sold.
