Ok, well, I put some ChemTool in my Silverado on sunday to clean the injectors. I put it in the tank at Autozone and left the cans there. No problem. Well, tonight I got some more for my wife's car and dumped it in the tank at home. I kept the bottle. I brought it in and read it, but I could tell there was something strange about it. I could tell there was something under the label on the bottle. I started peeling it off...

That is pretty f*cked up....
...>>>I own Friday also, its a small world

But seriously, I don't really know what to say. Go back to autozone, see if other bottles are the same way. Or atleast see if they will use some lubricant next time :boink:

Autozone...Hmmmm!!! WTF is right. They just went through a eally big investigation in 2-3 states for some type of fraud. I'd take that can back and have a word or three along with an attitude. Hopefully if it is what the underlable says, it'll burn through. If not, I'd be hold AZ liable. Man I really, really hopes this doesn't cluster f#(k's your engines!!!

Nice! That makes you wonder, doesn't it? Hopefully it was done by the manufacturer just to use up some extra oil treatment cans, and really had the right stuff in it. If it was oil treatment, it should burn just fine, but makes you wonder if you are wasting money on those kind of products in the first place...

Is that a lava lamp?

Damn, I didn't know that deisel engine oil treatment was a solvent that cleans fuel injectors!!! I guess that no matter how old you get, you can learn something new everyday.
P.S. A clean desk is a sign of a sick mind...so clean your desk!!!

No, I bought the ChemTool for cleaning the injectors. I tend to agree with twomorestrokes... Maybe Berryman just relabeled cans to use for a different product... The stuff in the can definitely smelled and looked like ChemTool

I put a K&N airfilter in it, redid the front brakes and put that B12 in it, and it runs better than ever

Soooo.. tell us... What does your wife drive??? Once we know we can tell you ... well, you know!!! (spoken like an ethnocentric superado driver who's wife drives an '05 Malibu Maxx...nice car).

She's got a '97 Honda Civic (9 years old) that she's had since it was new and somehow only managed to put 64,000 miles on it

LOL, DOnt worry. The "DIesel treatment" Is the same stuff. Compare the ingredients. They discontinued that stuff a while back. Their B12 has a wide variety of applications. (parts cleaner, etc etc). That is messed up though, I had to laugh. I worked at auto parts stores years back and I rememeber the guys at the counter always said to just use the chemtool, it was exactly the same stuff.

What if the label underneath read " Salt Additive for Plants" :eek7: or "Industrial Strength Detergent" That would be horrible
