Continental no Horn

1997 Continental has no horn working. . .any ideas. . I need a horn!!
I had to replace both my horns last year. Ford aimed them incorrectly, they continuously filled with water at every rainstorm and eventually rusted internally.
The horns Ford uses are the very same brandname carried at local autoparts stores. I cant remember the name, it's embossed on the horn. There are two horns, one high-pitch sound and one low-pitch sound. These two sounds blend to give you that nice Lincoln sound.
I aimed the new ones downward :)
With that said, you need to do some testing to see where the problem is. I would start at the horns in front of the radiator, test the presence of voltage from the horn feed wire when the horn button on the steering wheel is activated. If you have 12v or so there when the system is activated the problem is the same as mine.
Remove the horns and bench test them connecting a car battery to the two horn terminals should blast the horn. If not, the horn is dead.
Bring the dead horn(s) with you to the ap store to match the brand/sound.
If you didn't get 12v at the horn feed wire when the system was activated the next suspects should be the fuses and horn relay.
I presume you've already checked the fuses :)

A disconnected Horn Wire was the problem. Reconnected the wire and now have a great horn! THANKS!

Good news :)
I'm thinking someone disconnected the horns for a reason and the only reason I can think of is the infamous "Alarm sounds for no aparent reason", "sometimes in the middle of night while the world is sleeping" syndrome...
Let's hope that's not the case :)

In NC, without the horns you can't pass the safety inspection. no pass = no drive. So I have had to reconnect the wires, but the alarm went off on its own saturday. . . bummer. . maybe its the light module that i have read about. . will have it checked out at Dealership. . .
