I had a check engine code apear and the diagnostic from the dealer was the Cam Sensor and Synchronizer. They want $440 to do it. I think that is outragous when the sensor is only $25 and the syncronizer can be had around that price too probly. Do you gents have any suggestions on the repair/part numbers/advice/or just anything to be helpful. Thanks alot

Mike

Mike-
I had this done on my '98 Taurus, but mine was the crank sensor and synchronizer. It cost me $265 at AAMCO and they gave me a year warranty against that code, which was PO340. Try them out. $440 is ridiculous, but that is a dealor.
