Big Problem Help Plz!

i was driving down the road and my celica was having problems i think because i just washed the motor and water was in the intake or something... well it was sputtering and all the sudden it jerked and something BLEW UP. white smoke and a loud Wwissh sound like a blow off valve... I found a crack in a metal hose that looked like it was coming from the bottom of the engine or radiator... i dont know what to do plllzzz help and if you know what it is.. is it an expensive fix?

Ok i think it may be air condition because when i bought it last week he said the air condition would stop up... and the metal hose doesnt go into the radiator or anything.... It is comming from the part that is on the belt in the front left corner.. middle high on the engine.. is that the air condition pully or what? The car will start... and it runs... but im afriad to mess with it until i know what this is?

sounds lioke it was the ac compressor. id say itll be fine just take it off it its no good ansd get a shorter belt and just run it to the alternator. youll get a little more power that way. thats what i did. i have no compressor and it runs better now.

Yeh.. after a short panic period i let it cool down and i took it out again.. everything is in working order... 99 percent sure its the air condition cuz... its not working haha.. but yeh its running good and im just gonna replace the whole compressor and everything with one of those high performance things that let it spin free until you need ac...
