Closest thing to...

What I need to know is, what is the closest engine currently available in 1/24 scale to the SR20DET?

If you're looking for a complete, block, head minus tranny the only 4-cyl engine I can think of is the Toyota 4AGE(metal?). It's a got a flat, twin-cam style valve cover at least.

There are a bunch of plastic top-halfs from die-cast models though.

Our only hope lies in people's "secret projects" :biggrin:

Have you ever considered modifying the late 60's 4-cyl sports car engines??
Remember the Alfa twincam? It's oil pan could even pass for a Greddy SR20DET oil pan :biggrin:
