recently sent my car to 411 performance (a small tuner garage near me) to have my transmission bolted back up onto the motor, and when i got it back the transmission started slipping out of gear on the highway. of course, it got worse up to the point its at now.... stuck in 4th gear and there isnt a damn thing i can do to fix it.
now, ive been told this as well as had a hunch... 2002 civics are quite hard to get parts for because they are so new. a new transmission for my 1.7l might be pointless because it wouldnt be worth the money that i could be spending on a new driveline.
so now to the question at hand... WHICH motor would be appropriate as far as price, power, and compatibility? i was thinking ls vtec, or b20... any input is appreciated.

Come on now K20. ONE 7thgen out there has a B series which is illegal and only used for the salt flats all motor that we kno of. The cost of doing it is insain cause its not ment for our cars. K-20 is a clean swap. I'd sell the car if I where you unless you got upwards of 8 grand.
