Alarm

i have a 96 GST Spyder

amm...i had the top down today, and my frind open the passenger door from the inside, and the alarm went of for about 2-3 min, the it stoped, i couldnt stop it!!!
i tried all combination on my keyless, and it just wouldnt stop!

later on , i unlocked the car "twice", to get something out of the glove box. and the alarm went of, the horn, and the head lights are going on and off. i tried to pop the hood, the trunk, it goes off.!!!!!!

i dont know if i have an aftermarket alarm or what, but i need to be able to use my car!!, only thing i can do is just open the driver door!

Well then disconnect it. It should be connected to the battery.

i dont know were its at? or what it looks like?

Provided it's the factory alarm, you have to unlock the car with the key using the driver's side door to shut the alarm off.

That dosn't sound like the factory alarm. Mine goes off if it is armed and you open the door from the inside. but I can turn it off with the unlock button on the keyless pad, or if you put the key in the door and turn it to unlock the alarm goes off immediately.

i can only get in the car by using the keyless, all my doors are seized up!!
but my keyless unlock works!!, but it doesnt stop the alarm, could the alarm disarm wire be cut or loose or smthing?

on my sypder if I open the door from the inside with the top down I will set off the alarm. I can only turn it off using the key in the door or the trunk, either works.

If you open the glove box and it goes off thats on the movement sensors, not the key lock sensor. Again you have to use the key in the door/trunk here to disarm it. The only thing I can disarm with my remote is if I hit the panic button on it. And honestly I don't remember how to turn it off..

IF your doors are stuck try your trunk. It will disarm it. The system isn't malfunctioning thats how it works. It may be a little different from the normal eclipses I'm not sure. I don't see why it would be but it could..

haha, i have this same problem last weak, maybe your battery connection is corroated like mine was. both + and - connection were all white, loosed up both my cnnection by unscrewing it half way-off then I put some anti-corrosion spray on and I dont have the problem anymore, I also disconnected the main power cable thats connected to the negative connect because I fear that was the faulting connect making the alarm go off. good luck. Get those Connections for corrosion.
