Cleaning fuel injectors

I was thinking about taking the fuel injectors out out of my 91 voyager 3.0 to give them a good cleaning rather then dump a can of cleaner in the tank and do it that way. Would this be a wise decision or would it be tricky? Any links or guides for doing this on my model van? Or maybe someone knows of a really good product that I should use in my tank that WILL actually work. I was told I could take it to a shop and have them do it for 80 bux or so, but I hate the idea of having someone do something I could have done myself and use the money saved for other areas of my vehicle.

is the van running good? if it is I would suggest leaving it alone. the injectors are a little pricey to replace if you break something just tinkering around

just my opinion of course
