i did this and the same day, my car ran good as new, i thought i needed a new coil even, and didnt.
i missed the track for nothing basically becauase i had a bunch of boost leaks, actually 3 to be exact, and i still need to fix the last one (egr valve)
and i also hooked up my boost gauge to the fpr line, and it came to me as a surprise, because im only running 11psi, instead of 13 psi. i had the boost gauge hooked up to the hot pipe before, and it said 13 psi, so im losing 2 psi through my shitty ass ssautochrome intercooler, lmfao.
so tommorow, im going to hook my wastegate vacuum line up really close to the throttle body, instead of right on the turbo, so i can actually make 13 psi again.
i was thinking about actually using the hotpipe(11psi)when i wanted low boost and using the one close to the throttle body(13psi) when i want high boost, lol kinda like a manual boost controller.
whatchu guys think?

the variation between high (13) and low (11) sounds like a handy idea. This tool is also helpfull, similar to the pressure testers used when testing radiaters and such..nice post!

Yea I actually have been using this since I first turbo'd my car.lol
And Tim, you could just connect the wastegate source to your FPR line as well. That is what I do. I lose about 2psi as well.
