hey,
I need to know if an 89 240sx single over head cam KA24 standard transmission will bolt up to a 92 dual overhead cam motor. Also what sort of ECU work would be needed, and what else would i need for it to work.

Lol, it's really funny you should mention that. I just put a new clutch in last week and found out my tranny is from an '89. I only found that out cuz my slave cylinder was locked up and I had to change it out too. BTW my car is a '95. Kinda weird that the slave cylinder is different... Looks waaaaaay different. So long story short...yes it will fit. :)

I think the bellhousing is different..
maybe event he input shaft and pilot bearing is different
anyone have info on this?
I don't know about the ECU, I have books on all the shit but it will take me atleast a day if im not busy at work to get the wiring diagrams for the sensors on the transmission, I hope we still have import transmission manuals for 1989, we should.
your best bet would be to find someone who has actually done the swap.
So you don't know if the tranny will fit, you don't know which ECU he needs....why the hell did you post then?

your a cocky fuck arent you. all you do is post worthless shit.
the bellhousing fits, and the ecu will work if the sensors are the same, which i think they are.
