Strange button on drivers seat, never seen before.

I dont exactly have a picture, but that would help. But I will explain this as much as I can. Okay, my 91 stealth rt, does not have this button. It's one of my girl friends who own a 91 stealth rt, the only difference she has the nice black leather interior and her car is purple. But, on the drivers side right next to the lever to move your seat up and the back part up, so someone can attempt to fit in the back, there is this little button that you press, and it doesnt like click and stay in, click and stay out, it just click and comes back out. Well you click it, and it doesnt do anything. So what my question is, if anyone has any clue of why's its there and what does it do?

It may be the memory button. It allows you to return the seat to the position it was in....if you move it.

Sorry, but that's not the memory button. Like, sitting in your seat, you have a plastic thing up , and then down below that there is all the buttons. On that top plastic thing there is a button there, damn I wish i had a picture.

is it the electronic seat adjustment? because some models had that and others dont. my seat is totally electronic.
