turbo

I have an 87 camaro with a 2.8 from an 88 pontiac firebird formula. I was just wondering what performance modifications i would need to handle and run a turbo.

A new motor!!Don't get me wrong but the mods you will have 2 get will cost more than the turbo. But if u want it get forgrd rods, crank, a toque converter with an anti- balloon plate,exhaust manifolds for a turbo,a good cam that works well under boost comp cams makes a few good ones,new injectors, upgrade your fuel pump, get an intercooler,beef up the trans and rearend. There is some stuff i forgot i'm sure,but thats a start.
