i had it with my eclipse

my car keeps dieing on me while driving, at least once a week. :banghead: i change the spark plugs they were like 12 bucks each one, thats like to much money for me. I also bough msd wired, msd coil new filter for my coldair intake and again it run fine for awhile(this time for two weeks!) this time I had to push my freaking car(while hot really hot chicks were walking bye) :banghead:

I think more info is needed. Does it drive normally when it does run? How is the idle? Something small like a random vacuum leak will cause a car to stall every once in awhile. Maybe try a new fuel filter? Are your new spark plugs gapped correctly?

Also, knowing what car you have will help!

$12 each spark plug???jesus---why are you paying that much for plugs? there is no need

LMAO Who in the hell would pay $12 a plug? Even when I bought the NGK Iridium IV, they were only like $6 a piece and they are the best plugs I could find, and a lot better than the SHITTY Autolite's that were in there when I got it.

Hey, my first eclipse had the same problem. It was a 91 GS and it would just die for no reason on me. I had it looked at several times and it wasent the plugs, alternator, or anything else I could find. The only other thing I thought it could be was the dstributor but I sold the car to a buddy of mine before I tryed that and it kept on dieing on my buddy up until he wrecked it. We never did figure out what it was. It sometimes would die then start up again by itself. Very strange and if you let it sit sometimes it would start back up and sometimes it took days before it would turn back over. Maybe it was possesed??? Anyway good luck. Also what year and model is it? Do you plan to sell it?

it was 1995 gs and i sole the damn thing i got 5gs for it and the damn fool blow the motor after two days. he was showing off to his friends and rpm the hell out of it until he blow it up.
