Oil Capacity

Will someone go check out their owners manual and see what it says for oil... i always thought it said 5qts but now i cant find mine... and my car fills up at 4qts and it always had... im just curious...so im scared that all this time ive changed my oil (no telling how many times) that i might have been overfilling it.

mine fills up at 4.5 quarts.

the owners manual says 4 quarts in the pan and .5 in the filter.

and for the turbos?

well here is what the 94 manual says:

Engine oil: oil pan 4.0 liters (4 qts.)
Oil filter 0.3 liters (1/2 qt.)
Oil Cooler (turbo) 0.3 liters (1.2 qt.)


Now thats not my typo, its the book it says 0.3 liters = 1/2qt. then 0.3 liters = 1.2 qt.
1/2 a qt is 1.5 not 1.2. but I dont know how many liters in a quart!
