Can anyone tell me exactly what tool I need to remove the caliper bolts from a 2000 elantra? I called the Dealer, phil long "srew you" ford, and they "can't give out any mechanical info," :screwy: I visited several neighborhood auto parts store, imgaine that, no manuals :disappoin and the mechanics won't talk to you. :smokin: Is this like a gov't secret or something?! Any knowledge on the subject would be appreciated. Thanks .

If pep boys, kragen, autozone, etc. don't have automotive manuals then I'd say your stored suck. I know it's a wait but you can order them online above.

I'm not familiar with your car otherwise I'd give you an answer.

Are you talking about the brake calipers? If so, it's just a normal bolt that you can undo with a socket wrench or sized crescent wrench or whatever.

As for repair manuals, I have the Haynes one (covers 1996-2001) and you can get it on WalMart.com for about $13. It's really handy.
