good luck finding a straight DOHC sol for $3000. They usually go for $5000-$6500 if they're clean.

So true, when I was looking for a car before I got my hatch(at the time i only had a 3500 limit), the cheapest DOHC Sol I found was like 4g and it needed serious work on both the body and the engine. Good luck on your search though.

there are pix in some of my previous post. I don't think my asking price is low....but if you guys do Then i might raise it. :) From various places such as KBB, NADA, and edmunds i got anywhere from 2800 to 3200 for the value. I paid 5500 for it 2 years ago. But its my Ex's car now. I was the nice B/F and gave her the car as long as she agreed to pay for it to get out the shop. But now she is kinda screwed cuz she has to fix her focus due to insurance reasons and has no money to do it. So she has to sell the Sol. I figured i would try and help her out on the sale, even though i hate to see her go almost as much as i hate to see my G/F go. Im in Raleigh by the way....Cary actually. I guess i need to research a little more before i set the price...what would be fair?

b16a3.
you should ask between $4500 and $5500. if it is in good shape. I got mine with just a broken motor mount and a new paint job for $4000 even, I just had to drive 2000 miles to get it.

Aigh, I was just in Chapel Hill day before yesterday. Wish I would've found your response earlier, I would have liked to have come out and looked at it.

andrew... with your mods I'd be starting at $5000 and taking $4300 at the absolute lowest. That car is stupid clean.

I agree with Emily. I paid $9,000 for mine and it was in top shape with 70k miles. KBB only rated the value at $6,500 at the time. That was three years ago.
Your car is rediculously clean, Andrew. I'd ask more than $3,000 with the mods and care you've given it.
