No Boost!! please help

I just bought a 97 gs-t spyder, the AVCR Apexi boost controller was not hooked up and the seller told me it would run boost as soon as the controller was hooked up. Well my friend hooked it up and it still runs no boost. We bulit a boost leak tester and tested it but found no boost leak. Do any of you guys no what could be wrong? Weve tried everything we could and nothing seems to work. Thanks

Do you have a boost gauge?

Check your waist gate arm to see if it is hooked up or just hanging open.

i have a boost gauge thats reading 7psi but i can tell theres no boost and both my friends, one with a 93 RX 7, and the other with a srt-4, both drove it and said theres no boost what so ever. We are all stumped.

is your turbo Fkd up? Never heard of a turbo car with no boost!

95gst asked you to check wastegate, did you, definatly could be stuck open. can you hear the turbo spoolin at all?

yeah i can hear it spool and blow off. i havnt checked the wastegate arm yet. Anything else i need to check while im at it???

you can hear it spool, it blows off and no boost? hmm cant say ive ever heard of that. check line going to wastegate also. where is your boost controler hooked up to? Never had electric one, only manual?

is the stock boost control solenoid still hooked up? should be a little black round looking thing with two hoses running off it under or around intake area if you dont know

If you are spooling and blowing off you are getting boost! Your BOV will not just open or blow any thing out at that you would be sucking IF for some reason it was to open. You may have a fucked up WG that is stuck open broken or opening WAY to soon.
