instrument panel and tail lights go out

I have a 95 Camry LE. When I activate my left turn signal, my instrument panel lights and tail lights go out. When this first started, they would come back on after the turn was completed but now the problem persists regardless. I can slightly rotate the headlight switch and they come back on but go off when I remove my hand. I can no longer drive this car at night because of this problem so I have to fix it. I couldn't find another post regarding this problem. Any ideas or experience would be appreciated.
