The Flight That Fought Back

I was just wondering if anybody saw "The Flight That Fought Back" tonight on the Discovery Channel?
I must say it was a very powerful and moving story. It was also very interesting how they were able to re-create how things went and they did a pretty good job I think.
It was also one of the sadest things I've ever seen and I was close to crying when it was all over with. Just the many stories of everybody on the flight, like the man's wife who was pregnant with their first child, the psychology student who was only 20, and the many other people. Another thing that really gets you is they think they got into the cockpit and were only seconds away from taking control of the plane.
If you haven't seen this I strongly suggest that you watch it if you get a chance and see it re-played. It's something I feel every American should sit down and watch.

I liked it for the most part. And before anyone starts rambling on about how Discovery is trying to make money off of other peoples misfortunes, say your breath fucker, we don't need to hear your shit.
On a lighter note, I thought the movie deffinently was pretty moving.

i liked the show i happened to stumble upon it when i was surfing and it was 3/4 of the way over. the discovery channel replayed back to back i think so i stayed up and watched the whole thing. it really makes you think about what you would do if you were in a situation like that. sure, we've all said "if this happened then i would do this..." i don't know if i would actually think of doing it though, especially with the fact that i would probably die. i was amazed at how Discovery was able to recreate the whole thing.
it was a very good show

I searched Yahoo TV 14 days in advance and didn't come up with any results. So maybe(unlikely)they just showed it on 9/11, and only 9/11?

I missed The multiple airings of the show as well. They only showed it on Sunday and Monday. I contacted The Discovery Network through their website after searching for more info on future airings, and they responded that there were no plans in the near future to rebroadcast that particular show, they did however offer to sell me a copy of the movie, (I think I'll wait to see it on tv.) They probably will show it again on the anniversary dates of 9/11, and I'm hoping they will do it again before next year.

I'm sure someone here saved it on tivo that they could make copies of or something. There was a good amount of hype about the movie so I bet someone copied it.

Was that the flight that got shot down by a F-16 over PA?

It was the one that went down in Pa, but I don't think it was shot down.

Yeah I think it went down from the passengers taking over the cock pit and crashing it in a field rather then a sky scraper(i.e twin towers).

I remember the mourning of the 9-11 attacks.I was listening to the radio when a CNN reporter came on and said that planes have hit the twin towers and the pentagon and a Air Force F-16 shot one plane down over PA.I heard this once and only once. What makes this story weird is that I live not to far from where the wreckage was found. So on my local news I seen the report about it.They talked to people that seen the plane come in and crash. The witnesses said that the plane came in steep. Now what is weird is that the tail of the plane was a couple of miles away from the wreckage.

I liked the show, and how it was presented. The only thing I didn't like was the commercial breaks. There seemed to be more than the average two hour movie. I don't know, maybe it's just me. Nice to see they are setting up a memorial to honor these heroes, "the first soldiers in the war on terrorism."

Saw it yesterday.
You'd never guess a plane crashed there. Where's the pieces of the plane? There was just a crater left over.
