Help please!!

I have a 99 Yukon and am looking into swapping seats with a 03 or 04 Avalanche (power driver, manual passenger; my yukon is also power driver, manual passenger). I understand that the seat motors are self-contained, only requiring a hot and a ground 1) Is this possible? 2) If so, what possible problems will I run into? By the way, im not worried about drilling the floor and I will also be replacing the carpet with aftermarket pre-formed. I'd hate to buy them and find that they wont even fit and be out $500. Any help or comments greatly appreciated. Thanks
