Hey whats going on quick question i have two orion xtr 3's 12's im gonna run them on two seperate amps the specs on these things are 250 rms at 500 watt max and are 4 ohms. the box is supposed to be 1.0 cube but they are custom made so their a little bit bigger then that. I wanna run Pioneer GM-510T its two channel and you can get it down to 380 rms at 4 ohms bridged. From what i have read its not the power that can kill the sub its the disturbance. So my question is running a little more power then needed isnt bad right?

I found this rather disturbing :grinno:

I ALWAYS put more power to my speakers than the RMS ratings. I have 1000+ watts RMS going to 2 subs rated at 300 watts RMS each.

I was making fun of this statement ..... I don't know what word you meant to use, but I am sure disturbance wan't it.
