Alarm Problem

My alarm never worked and to be hornest I thought it would not work without the factory radio. Well I installed a new aftermarket radio today and guess what the alarm went off and I do not have a remote to cut it off. So I unhooked the battery and there it sits. So the question is can I still get a remote and program it or should I jsut unplug the remote and call it a day.

do you still want to use the factory alarm or not is what it comes down too.. if you're going to upgrade to an aftermarket one, than it doesn't really matter, but if you're gonna' stick with the stock one than that's a different story...
