Anyone know how hard it is to put new shocks\ struts and lowering springs on a fourth gen? I can't make a custom body kit until I can stop the car without the front end hitting the ground.LOL(my shocks are really bad) What brand sould I get for the best performance?

tokico are good. Tien are better if they are available. it's not the easiest thing to do. But I find it overall just better to find someone experienced and have them do the work. I'm lucky since my dad has a mechanic friend, he does a lot of the work for a really good price and keeps an eye out for things that we would not see. Been using eibach springs on my friends maxima. They've been working pretty well. We've switched them twice now.

suspension is easy to do, expaically if you only just have to take out the sturt and replace it with a new one, if you have to use a spring compressor and such, it gets tiem consuming and annoying (took me 3 hours just ot put lowing springs and new shocks on my car) but its not all that hard

lol, first time my buddy and I were going to switch the springs on his maxima we just said screw it cuz we tried unscrewing the bolt, but.. it just didn't want to go, we felt $30 (at the time, place went out of business) at a friends Ricer shop was good enough, did the job quick too, just wish there was a hook up like that for easier stuff...
