awwww,your sooo cute!
yes we know what grand tourismo is and yess we've all played GT4.
the 3000GT MR is actually the GTO MR. in Japan the 3000GT is called the GTO and the MR stands for "Mitsubishi Racing".
It was a model you could get with less weight then the reguar GTO and with bigger turbos. it also had different gearing to make the car a little more track ready.
BTW in case you didnt know the name "GTO" stands for "Grand Tourismo Omologato".
Have you also noticed in GT4 the 3000GT SL is AWD but here in the US the 3000GT SL is FWD? well thats because in Japan all GTOs where AWD. there was a non-turbo awd, a turbo awd and the MR wich was the lighter turbo AWD.
same thing with the "EVO MR" EVOLUTION Mitsubishi Racing.

Do you think we were born in a box yesterday? Yes, we know what GT4 is, and yes we all know what the MR version of the GTO/3000GT is. If you actually took the time to read the FAQ, which is a sticky and tells you to read that first, it would have explained to you more about it, and you wouldn't have wasted your time in this post.

FYI I have a 1998 Mitsubishi 3000GT MR in GT4 that is green (just like mine IRL) and it does an 8.2 second quarter and does 273 mph. Not my fastest car, but it's damn good for a 3s :)

Hey guys, about that game.
You know when you purchase upgrades for your car, and for example they have Suspension Upgrades and you but a Suspension: Full Customize. And it says that you can customize every part of your suspension when you purchase it...
But my question is can you really adjust your suspension? Because I haven't seen any option where it would let me do that sorta thing...
So to people who played the game and maybe know this or that about the game can enlighten me on this one.
Thanks.

in 1-3 yes you can so I doubt they woudl take the option away. Its in the car customize settings before a race.

Do the settings stay how you adjusted them for all races or just the one you set it on?

Smartass! :grinno:
yes you can tune the suspension, go to the "settings" option right before a race. next to where it says suspension there is a little blue icon of a wrench. if you click on it you will go into the screen to set each individual characteristic of the suspension.
and yes it stays on for all raced not just for that one. You can have up to three different pre-sets though. at the top of the settings menu there is a yellow tab that reads A, B, C
those are the preset to choose from. for example say I buy a 3000GT VR4 and want to keep it stock for some races, street tuned for whenever friends come over an wanna play and fully tunned to the max for when I want to just race and win money. I can set page A for stock, page B for street and page C for track. and instead of haveing to spen hours re-tunning the gear rations and ride height and camber and such I just choose A,B or C
and you are never too old to play video games!

Just a few things to clear up in your post. The MR was indeed lighter. There is no official meaning of MR. All GTO's had the same gearing. No GTO had larger turbos. They were all 9b's just like US spec. Only Euro 3000gts had the option for 13g's.

The official meaning of the Evo MR is "mitsubishi racing" so the GTO MR must be the same thing.
I was under the impression that the MR had larger turbos but I cant say for sure.
I'm possitive I saw a mod for MR gearing on another site, why would anyone want the MR gearing if its the same thing thier car already has?
I'm not gonna argue, you seem to be a gospel of 3000GT/GTO facts, thanks for clearing it up Stealthee.

LOL I need to use that last part in my sig.:p
The "MR gearing" is a misconception. It should be called "JDM GTO gearing swap" I used to be under the same impression till I beleive talskinyguy cleared it up for me. The GTO MR for sure had 9b's.
One last thing, everything I have learned about these cars has been mainly thru 3si. I come over here to help out answer posts when I can.:)

Well as for the GTO MR it's the fastest IMO. Haven't you guys seen that race with a stock 95 GTO MR vs. R33 GTR, the MR ran 12.8 and the R33 ran 12.9. I wish I had that MR.
