How to drop a '91 Cutlass Ciera oil pan?

I have a haynes car manual for the oldmobile cutlass years '86 to 9something, and so far it has been wrong twice. I have successfully removed all the bolts holding the oil pan to the engine, but I have encountered problems taking it off the car. The frame is welded and the transmission is in the way. Does anyone know how i can get the oil pan out?

try jacking up the engine a little (take out a motor mount) or dropping k frame (that sucks though)
