Can anyone point me to some info on Mitsubishi clutches. Maybe some info on different types with reviews? I think my clutch is slipping and its time for a new one. Anyone have any tips on how to tell if your clutch is going to hell?

floor it and if the rev's go higher than they should at the according speed, it's slipping. or while idling throw it in 3rd and let off the clutch slowly, if it doesn't die right when it disengages then it's new clutch time.

well the front bumper is actually just the 97 bumper with that middle slit cut out ;) My DSM is a 96 so i had to buy/paint the bumper.
I only have one other pic, it sort of has the sides, the car was filthy though, just finished the front mount install

I still got some minor body work and I'll get a real photohoot.
thanks for the compliment

how much labor time would I be looking at to install a clutch that I bought?

which one did you buy? Hopefully not stock because if you mod that clutch will need to be replaced. An ACT 21 is recommended til ~330whp. Most shops charge about 500 to install. If you know some people maybe 400, but you have to drop the tranny, it's not easy. Your best bet would be to find a local DSM wiseman to do it for ya for some cash and beers. That's what I'm doing ;)

i havent bought one yet, if i managed to drop the tranny myself how difficult would the install be?

also, if i wanted to eventually get a short shifter, would it be wise to have the new clutch and the shifter installed at once?

if you can drop the tranny it's not too difficult. I've never done one myself because its a PATI. The shortshifter can be installed relatively easily at anytime. Ya don't need to mess with the clutch at all.
