i am looking into injecting some serious power into my 4.6 thunderbird. i was looking at seanhylandmotorsports.com at some of his 4.6 2v motors, thinking that would be the easiest swap. the only issue is that the kind of numbers i would like are way too expensive, and i don't want to mess with all the computer issues. i just read that coast high performance has just made a 351 that has been bumped up to a 427, and that has 554 hp and 550ish ft/lbs torque. that motor is less expensive, and it probably wouldn't require a new computer program and all the headaches that i can imagine would be associated with figuring out all the electroinics. i want a good 450 to 500 hp out of whatever i do, but i want to get there as easy as possible. i know that with the 351 there are probably a million clearance and fit issues, but i was hoping to get some input from some of you guys on here.
thanks

You'll still need a larger MAF, TB, injectors, fuel pump, exhaust, etc. along with a custom programmed chip for it to run properly.
