Hey guys ive got a chevy silverado 2wd and i am going to put some new tires and wheels on it, i was looking at the BFGoodrich A/T KO tires. I am wondering what i could do to get some sort of lift. I was looking into shackles and maybe spacers on the shocks. I just need something that isnt too high and expensive but will still give me around a 2" lift. Thanks

Daryl

Do you really intend to thrash it or just street?

If you do street, then just go with a body lift. Pretty cheap for parts and if you are pretty good with mechanical stuff, you can do it yourself.

If you want to thrash it in the desert prerunner style, then I would spend some money and buy some good stuff. Stuff like long travel suspension and remote resevoir shocks. You cant really cheap out when you want to drive like a maniac

If you're going to be spending much time off road you might as well spring for the MTs instead of the ATs, they're a much better tire all around.
