1999 Century Remote trunk Trouble

I'm having trouble with the remote for the doors and trunk. My doors open fine but my trunk won't open. I tried reprograming my remotes but still my trunk does not open. Inside the car when I press on the remote for the trunk I hear a clunk from under the dash. I check the fuses, they seem fine.
Any help would be appreciated.

I can't be sure of this but if you hear a noise under the dash, there is most likely a relay you hear. However I don't think this is the cause of you remote button working. But it's worth looking into.
