Warranty voidage with header?

Hey, With my'01 Celica I just bought, I bought an extended warranty and I was just wondering if I put a header in there if it would void the warranty? I am expecting a yes, but i'm thinkin that if I let a professional install it then they won't void my warranty.

Any help would be appreciated...

keep your stock one and switch back if you have to do a claim on the warranty, i don't think it'll void it then. ;)

Are the headers in the 00 - 05 celicas hard to put in? and where could Honda EX77 and I get a good one for our Celicas?

What are some good brands of headers?

ask your dealer what type of parts they will warrant. But it'll be much pricier since you'll have to buy whatever they sell at the dealer and the dealer will have to install it. There are a couple dealers around here that will keep the warranty on cars equiped with say TRD s/c or tokico suspension parts. But really depends.

any part will void the warrenty if it didnt come directly from the dealer, but things that are voided, like if you got a header, and you hafe a bad electrical problem, it wont cvoid that part of the warrenty, just anything that had to do with the header

couldnt you get a trd header i dont know if trd makes headers though. i say just get headers and if you need the warranty take them off and put your exaust manifold back on.

theres realy no point in getting a header tho

headers are pretty much for cars taht need them (no shit lol), put it this way, look at the MASSIVE difrence between my early 90's header (cast iorn, flowed like shit, and didnt have equal runners, they were all VERY small) and look at the new celcia headers (equal lengths w/mandral bends, 1.25 inch tubing a piece, and there short, they reach the collector quickly)
big diffrence, ill admit putting a header on a new celica WILL give you power, jsut not much, my car dynoed in at 12 more hp (yes on a gay gtech) if i was to do it to a new header it would see 5hp tops, more like 2 or 3, thats becuase theres not much more they could do to it to make it flow better...in all honesty youd probably see the same results if you just ported and polished your header for better flow

alright, sounds good. What else could I put in the celica to make it have a little ibt more HP? other then forcing induction?
