Most fun I've had in a long time...

So my dad's best friend is staying at our house for the week, and his best friend's son came up to visit him...it just so happens that he drives a WRX STi...I come home and it's in the guest parking space...I ask him if that's his car and he's all "yeah, wanna drive it?"...my immediate instinct would have been to say "hell fucking yes!" but instead all that came out was the truth "I uhhh..heh...don't know how to drive a..stick"...he was like "that's too bad, I'd let you drive it...the least I can do is take you for a ride"...I graciously accepted and all I can say is that I have never been from 0 to 100 mph so fast before...WOW! He says that he's probably going to come up and visit his sister more often(his sister lives 2 blocks from my house) and next time he comes up, he'll teach me how to drive a stick...using the STi...I can't wait! :icon16:

Not so much a girl as much as I felt like a dipshit for having to pass up on a really fun opportunity...the guy bought insurance on it where if other people drive it and fuck his car up, he's covered for it, which is why he asked if I wanted to drive in the first place...he said if I could drive it, I could do all the illegal stuff I want because he wouldn't be liable...that's why he only took it up to about 100 or so.

And, 100mph isn't Illegal in Ventura eh?

Problem with the Trans Am is that getting to the speed limit normally only takes 4-5 seconds if it hooks. Otherwise I am getting to the speed limit with the tires spinning. :icon16:
