I'm looking for opions on a soft toneau cover, I use the bed all the time, so I don,t want a fiberglass or any other type of fixed lid. I was looking at the Access Roll Top, anyone have any experience with this??

What about the Tri-Fold that leaves no parts on the rail and installs/removes in less than a minute??? When removed it is small enough to go in the back seat or layed in the bed of the truck. Also can be left attached to just the front and snaps down so it can be left covering the front third. I am going to get that or the 1/4 folding hard tonneau. It matters what hardware is left on the rails.
Just my :2cents:

Is tri-fold the company name, or is it something else?
Could it be possible for you guys to post a link with your suggestion?
Thanks

Good frame, nothing left on the bed if you want to move something and not go back to the pickup point. Soft tonneau will always have the possibility of holes but Torza makes 3 different grades of vinyl, do some calling to get the opinion of your local customizing shops....

I had one modified by a local uphulstry shop for my 98 with the tool box, looked great! All they did was cut down the rails, as for the cover a custom one was made... It got kinda pricy but looked great

This is what I'm putting on the Fire Truck by the end of the year. A bit more pricey, but more secure and durable and it has good access:

Now if you can get someone to show you a good picture of what the parts are that stay on the bed rail.......

You can have a look at this toneau. It has a built in toolbox that matches the toneau. Only problem is that it is not so cheap as a regular soft toneau.

If you're gonna have it for a while, I like the Extang higher end models, like the Tuff Toneau 3. Definately a fan of the "peel and seal" no matter who you go with. I don't like the snaps, they usually end up not looking so good and have to be spaced and done individually. The velcro models are a bit better.. but if you're off a bit when putting it back on, ya gotta pull it all off to straighten it out. Peel and seal is easy on and off and water tight. Some will tell you it doesnt roll up as well, but it's not as bad as it sounds. Never had one but I know they make ones now that are shorter to work with bed boxes. Maybe try "truxedo".

I have the Pace Edwards jackrabbit which is an aluminum rolltop that is padded to look like a soft cover. I had a hard cover on my Ford and I loved the fact that it could be locked, but not being able to use the bed really sucked. As soon as I figure out how to get my pics uploaded, I will post them. If anyone wants, I can email them.
