Rebuilding turbo

Is there anyway I can rebuild a turbo to get ride of shaft play cause i have a guy that is willing to sell a 14b turbo to me for 25 bucks but it has alot of shaft play.

If I were you, I would honestly just find another turbo to buy, it will cost you more in rebuilding then what you would spend on another. Those turbos are very easy to come buy.

yeah because with alot of shaft play chances are the shaft is worn like hell along with the bearings. I have rebuilt a turbo twice for my friend before but told him it would not last long. Do to shaft worn a little so you still had very little play and also i could not balance like a turbo shop. Over all the turbo lasted him about 2 months before it was gone again. I told him the money he spent on the kits he could of found a nice used turbo somewhere lol

you could buy the 14b for 25 bucks. Then go to forcedperformance.com. They have a big 16g replacement that uses the 14b exhaust housing and actuator for like 420 bucks.

im looking to spend as little as possible. i dont need to big of a turbo cause i have different compression pistons so i can only run around 6-10 psi. my pistons are 9:1 while your guys are 7:5:1
