Last few days has been great, the gf comes home nearly every day from work with stories of all sorts of cars she has blown off at the lights.
In my haste to get the D15B Vtec wiring harness all set up in a car that was carby, I forgot one minor detail... temp gauge operation!! It still had the new engines sensor in behind the thermostat which did not suit the factory gauge so out came the old motors water temp gauge for a retro-fit.
This is where things went horribly wrong, the 22mm spanner I used slipped getting the water gauge sensor off the new motor and smashed the 'camshaft position oil pressure sensor' next to the distributor!!
Suddenly VTEC is a distant memory :(
I am using the factory P08 ecu and am wondering if anyone has a Honda Factory part number for this switch or is it the same as the DOHC B series switch under the exhaust cam / next to the dizzy?
Our local Honda Dealer wants a VIN before they will supply it, GRRR!!!
Now that the water temp gauge is working, I would love to get VTEC power again without using a paper clip to bridge the plug, as the local law enforcement hate anything that looks dodgy!
Thanks in advance!!

Barrow the vin from a 93-95 Civic EX... will be the same part that you need.
Or you could get on eBay and find one probably cheaper than the dealer wants.
