Door ajar light

2003 Venture door ajar light stays on. Anyone have this problem and how can I repair?

On your sliding doors where it meets the piller there are 3 or 4 probe looking things that is brass coloured. They tend get some corrosion and cause this condition,use very fine sand paper and sand it and light dab of grease may slove your problem.
