New Question...rad Fan Not Working

i have a 1990 240sx 85,000,auto tranny,ok...well my belt on my fan broke off.....and it dont spin when i put on the car....how do i get it to work again or is it shot..cause it was on when it poped off .....but the car still runs strong.....and the single cam engine comes with two belts.....the 1 thats on the fan and alitnator????could it be shot????help thanks

What i got out of reading that was that your fan belt broke and when you turn the car on the fan doesnt spin. Well it has to be connected by a belt so buy a new one. but since i dotn think your stupid... Iunno maybe the Clutch part of the fan was put on backwards and the clutch only grabs one way... if not the clutch is broke.

or the bearings in the fan assembly are toast and thats why you fried the belt...pulley is stuck...might need to get a new pulley

Maybe the belt was just old and dry and it time had come.
