VinylKote

Is anyone familiar with a product called VinylKote? I recently posted about having a wax mark on my dashboard that seems to have seeped into the vinyl. VinylKote appears to be a product that can restore the paint on the dash. I've tried different cleaners to remove the wax, but none work. Additionally, it's just one spot I'm concerned with, not the entire dashboard. I need people's opinions on VinylKote and on using other vinyl dyes to restore the color where the wax mark is. If the wax has been absorbed into the dash, what is my best option? As far as I've researched, I'd have to use a dye. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
