Disable Passenger Air Bag

I've got a baby on the way and my main driver is a 2003 E-150.

I'm trying to figure out how to disable the air bag on the passenger side of the van. My dealership won't do it nor tell me how. Another mechanic I use says that he knows GM will tell a customer which fuse to pull.

Does anyone know how I can resolve this problem or at least lead me in the right direction?

We have the exact same problem!! We calle the dealer and they told us to call the national safety people. Did you find out how to disable it???

I had to get a waiver to have an air bag switch installed by the NTSC.

I never did it though. It cost about $350 and I just don't take the baby in that vehicle.
