i know my way around cars but this is my first manual transmission, it would always surge speed when holding a steady foot on the pedal, now tho something is making a noise that sounds like what a branch sraping the side of a car would make, i was told it was the thowout bearing but I dont know, and also my speedometer needle just started bouncing constantly which i thought was due to the worn clutch but it also bounces when the clutch pedal is down.

any tips would be awsome
