question about gas door

My gas door thingy doesn't close all the way. I know it's not a big deal, but it bugs me. When I shut it there is about a 1/2 inch opening still. Any way to fix it?

Check to see if the arm/hinge is bent. Its pretty flimsy. You can remove the complete door assembly by removing the two 8mm bolts holding it on. When you release and close the door at a certain point does it snap closed?

mine did the same thing. i replaced the whole door. I dont remember how much it was...sorry.
