Bent wheel - how bad?

Hi all, I've just joined the Maxima community! Picked up a white 96 GLE a couple of days ago. However, I took it in to the shop to get checked over today, and it looks like the previous owner thrashed the wheels pretty badly. One of the front 17X9 Konig Tantrums is actually bent - very obvious when the car was on the lift and the wheel was rotated. :bloated: None of the other three seemed damaged under visual inspection, except for some curb scrapes.

Biggest question: How bad is a bent wheel for the car? I know that it will at the very least screw up my treads. Will it jack up the axle/bearings/etc.?

Wondering if I should drop a wad of cash to pick up some new rims, or just replace the heavily bent one. I'm just worried that he may have tweaked them all. It would be nice not to have to spend more money after just paying for the car.:( Any chance of selling or trading in damaged wheels (not hopeful)?

Please help. Thnx.

Here are a few sites for you to check out. Your old rim will be "like new" when they're finished with it.

I have personally used Wheels America (below) and they do great work. They have a location right here in San Antonio so I didn't have to pay shipping.
